I Love My Job!

"I love my job!" Yes, these are words I have actually said this week about what I spend 40 hours a week getting paid for. Even though this was what I prayed for, I'm still somehow surprised to hear myself say this seemingly-elusive phrase. True, I've only had this job for a week, but I have a hard time seeing how subsequent weeks could be any less amazing than week 1. It's been a little overwhelming because there is so much to learn and the expectation is very high, but I do believe that God equips the called, and I don't have any reason to fear that he won't help me learn what I need to learn to do the job he called me to. How cool is it that I get to spend my days talking to and praying with awesome people who love God and are doing their best to make sure his children around the world are provided for?! This is not necessarily what I thought I'd be doing, but I love it.
